The last time we ignored the issue, a woman was raped. The last time we walked away, a child was molested. The last time we told a child how he/she needs to behave because of their gender, we created another victim or perpetrator of gender crime. We were wrong the last time, but we have learn from our mistakes. It’s time to make things right before it gets too late, by ensuring gender sensitisation in our society.

Gender Sensitisation in schools will teach our children that all genders are equal and must be treated with equal responsibility, and that gender biases are not be perpetrated or tolerated. Gender sensitisation is our only hope towards building a society that is inclusive of all genders, and that is safe.
