Seva Mandir operates in the southern part of Rajasthan. Our work area encompasses 626 villages and 56 Urban Settlements of which the majority are located in Udaipur District. In total the organization reaches out to around 70,000 households, influencing the lives of approximately 360,000 persons. Seva Mandir has received many awards like - 1) The Laxmipat Singhania-IIm Lucknow National Leadership Award for young leaders by India's Prime Minister in December 2006. 2) Seva Mandir won the Development Marketplace Grant Competition, organized by the World Bank for its project on Addressing Iron Deficiency Anemia in Rural Rajasthan (2009). 3) The CSO Partner's Outstanding Annual Report Award 2009 for Seva Madnir's 2007-2008 in Large Organization Category. 5) The Maharana Award from the Maharana Mewar Foundation, for work of the permanent value to society through service and philanthropy. In addition, Seva Mandir has links with Universities like MIT, USA, Yale, Amherst for conducting world class researches. The Balwadi or preschool program of Seva Mandir received a mention of good work in 11th five year plan of Government of India.
