SARDS is a regitered society that has been working for community development since 1986. SARDS is partnering with over 12000 children, 26000 families, 220 communities and 2000 CBOs in the process of attainment of self-reliance and sustainability among poor and marginalized sections like fisher folk, Yanadi tribes, scheduled casts small farmers, HIV infected and affected families, sex workers and economically back warded communities. The targeted communities and CBOs facilitated by over 120 SARDS staff and 528 community voluntaries lead the journey towards a new future for every child, family and the community. Down the line of development journey, SARDS has been collaborated with various local, national, international NGOs to realise its vision. SARDS at local level works closely with CBOs of fisherfolk, tribes, backward and schedule castes, SARDS has built strong organic linkages with government line departments like Agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, industries, DRDA and NABARD. At the international level, SARDS is collaborating with INGOs like Oxfam Australia, CARE, TDH Germany, Convern World wide, German Argo action( WHH), GTZ, Plan international, etc.
