Magadh University Students Lock down Regional Office

Students of Magadh University (MU) on Monday created a ruckus at the university's regional office in Patna to protest the alleged inaccuracies in the results of the first and second part of the graduate exams. Demanding re-evaluation of the test papers, the students under the banner of All India Students' Federation (AISF) locked down the regional office and chanted anti-administration slogans while also demanding the resignation of top MU officials.

Students in touch with politics

Students belonging to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) students' wing in Patna on Wednesday burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar outside Patna University office to protest 'gross mismanagement' in the functioning of the university. Chanting anti Chief Minister and Education Minister slogans, the students demanded appointments of permanent teachers in all colleges and replacement of the temporary Patna University librarian with a permanent employee.
