Vijay Krida Mandal (VKM) a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) was established in the year 1979. The organization initially focused on providing a platform for budding sports enthusiasts. Overwhelmed by the response from the community, the organization started scaling up by setting up a Balwadi (Nursery) in the year 1987.
We nurture a vision that is rooted in creating opportunities for the marginalized and impacting the lives of the people we work with.
We primarily work on HIV-AIDS with bar girls - sex workers, constantly bridging the gap by creating awareness and putting them on the road map that ensures dignity in living and life in itself. Though we are constantly working to achieve our vision we ensure to abide by the values of ethical governance, transparency, dedication and integrity that are woven into our existence as an organization.

Eminent Psychologist and educationist Dr. T.R. Paliwal (PhD.), started the society after his retirement to work for the poor, under privileged down trodden section of society in rural areas to impart education, health and overall development.
Mr. K.M. Paliwal is the chief functionary having an engineering & MBA education who firmly believes health & education to all & his prime objective is to uplift the rural less privileged children by providing basic education & health facilities. He wishes to create awareness among the rural women family welfare & personal hygiene.
MITRA enables people to bring skills and expertise to the rural and social development sector in India through volunteers and paid professionals.
India’s social and rural development needs are unquestionably substantial, however at MITRA we believe that the answer lies with its people. We have a wealth of home grown skills and expertise which when utilised in the right organisations will make a significant difference in meeting India’s social and rural development needs.
