Change – some people wait for it to happen, some people demand it, and some people become the change. Does one need to know someone influential to action change? Perhaps pull a few strings? Be rich, successful, famous even? 
 

The answer is no – and the living example of this emphatic belief is Askhay Kingar, from Bangalore, who achieved an almost impossible task through the least expected-to-be-used medium – a social networking platform.
 

Gender is the way a society differentiates between men and women and their roles or place in the society. Stereotype is a fixed idea or image that many people associate to a particular type of person or thing, which is often not true in reality. Gender stereotypes are assumptions about characteristics, differences or roles based on gender. By making assumptions based on gender and generalizing these assumptions, we perpetuate gender stereotype.

In a country that is rapidly adapting to the consumption and exchange of information in the digital space, law enforcement bodies are utilising social media platforms to overhaul their image and make meaningful connections with the citizens that they serve and protect.
