The Mission Of " TOBACCO FREE INDIA CAMPAIGN" is to create awareness among adolescents & youth regarding the ill effects of Tobacco in Various forms.
.

The starting point of this campaign is Bangalore & the campiagn will end up in Mumbai 2012. it is a 25days campaign by road.

Collaborations & Tie ups:

1) Collaboration with Local I.D.A branch of different states for organising the awareness programm either in school settings &/or Rural areas.

2) Tie up with Dental colleges & other institutions for the Same.

3) Collaborating with Different N.G.Os & voluntary organisations, Gram Panchayat offices for the same, where ever unavailability of I.D.A branch office/ Institutions.

Programme Details During the campaign.

A) Power Point Presentation of Tobacco related diseases eg.) oral & dental , respiratory & cardiac related diseases.

B) Documentary movie based on Cancer

C) Distribution of literature material based on cancer and oral hygiene maintainence

D) Questionnaire survey based on oral health & tobacco usage.

E) Oral & Dental screening in schools.

F) Issuing the participation certificates to the members/ associations involved in this noble cause.
