NGO in India

In a developing country like India, the role of an NGO is paramount, since there are so many fallacies in the system that people who are poor really need support in every form they can get. True, the government is doing its bit to help them get back on their feet, but from an administrative point of view, there is only so much that can be done. The challenge lies in reaching out to the grass-root level, and that is precisely where NGOs are so effective. Also, there are many people in society who genuinely want to help the poor and needy, but do not know how to go about doing the same in the right manner. For them, NGOs serve as a medium of doing the right thing by putting their money to good use for the welfare of society.

It is indeed heartening to see what such kind of establishments are doing for the country, which on one hand is progressing in every field, but on the other, lacks the positive impact such kind of a development is supposed to have. With more income, everyone wants to lend a hand in improving the standards of living for everyone, and NGOs are going ahead in just the right way to do that!
