mere khayal mein voting machiens mein ek "NON-VOTING" Ki bhi option honi chahiye......
So come to the point, hamari ye muhim hai ke vote karo aur agar hum vote nahi kar rahe hain to hum so rahe hain bilkul sahi baat hai, lekin kya koi bta sakta hai ke jitne bhi candidates hote election mein, agar hamein unmein se koi bhi pasand na ho to hum kya karen........ hav anybody answer ? nahi koi jawab nahi hoga shayd kisi ke pass... par mere pass ek idea hai hai agar aap sab logon ko pasand aaye, there will be a option for "NON-VOTING". aur mera manana ye hai ek din aisa aayega jab hum in ghatia rajneeti ko ukhad fenkenge, kiyunke jaise jaise hamai yung genration JAGO RE join karegi aur aware hogi voting lie to is baat ke lie bhi aware hogi ke hum apni jaroorton ko chod kar desh ki jaroorton ke lie vote kare aur ek aisa neta chune jo currupt na ho aur ek din aisa hoga jab desh ke har kone mein se awaj aayegi in currupt netaon ke lie.........
So Plz Wake up nw bahut ho chuka aab jagne ka time hai, khane khilane ka nahi pilane ka time hai aur jagne ka time hai take hum apne is desh ko fir se gulam hone se bacha saken....

Electronic Voting - still risky
The trouble with electronic voting is that illgitimate voting or booth capture effects can be possible without all that violence. Just simply buy out the voting machine vendor!!! thats it.... it doesnt matter if the votes were legitimate or illegitmate... there are several algorthms present to distribute the voting from localities across the candidates... its really difficult to prove the rigging. infact... the rigging can be orchestrated months in advance and live feeds for tv channels can also pre-prepared so well that no one can guess/ detect/ question the voting or counting process.
Another important thing to note is that unless voting machines have the following requirements, it is just imply a huge waste of tax payers money.
* The voting booth machine must be capable to reflashing the software over internet thru relevant secure triggers only the vendors can control.
* All such updates must be secured with a security hash that is valid only for a limited period of time. This will ensure if there is a delay in transmission the updat will fail and invalidate itself from voting operations. Only other option would be to take it back to vendor.
* All voting must be persisted centrally & locally on the booth. This will provide relevant external 3rd party audit to prove discrepancies & perform reconciliations.
* The voting company (from the CEO, owner, to the last of the employees), and every politican and official involved in selecting this vendor for the polls must be ripped off all civil rights and national identity, if any poll is found to be rigged. Passports, Ration Cards, Voter Id, PAN card, etc must be invalidated. New IPC code must be created, if such punishments do not exist.
* The voting updates from the booth machines to central repository must be atleast 2-dimensioned security algorithem with one dimension being time.
* Both the update & voting traffic encryption must be subjected to minimum of 30-day exercise to open challenge for the hackers to crack the security thru any mechanism the hackers choose to attempt the break.
