Students of Magadh University (MU) on Monday created a ruckus at the university's regional office in Patna to protest the alleged inaccuracies in the results of the first and second part of the graduate exams.

Demanding re-evaluation of the test papers, the students under the banner of All India Students' Federation (AISF) locked down the regional office and chanted anti-administration slogans while also demanding the resignation of top MU officials.

"It has been more than a month since we have been demanding a re-evaluation of the papers but neither the university officials nor the state government has shown any interest on issues that deeply concerns us and our future. Our next move is to march to the Raj Bhawan on December 10 in the hope of getting the attention of the Governor," said an AISF activist.

The students also accused the police of assaulting them even when they were engaged in peaceful protests.

"Lathis and arrests are not going to break our spirit. Our agitation will go on until our grievances are resolved, said another protestor.
