This is in regard to 'Separate Telangana' issue in Andhra Pradesh. Off late we have been witness to too much of this political drama. AP Chief minister passed away, yes agreed it was sad, but does it mean that daily business should come to a stand still? For 3 days all we watched only our dear X-cheif minister on television, doubt if even Mahatma Gandhi got so much glorification! Should mourning be forced upon people?
If the person was so good, would he have liked his death to cause inconvenience to people he loved & served? There people going around and shutting the shops, forcing bandh – Well the mourning in India seems to be rather enforced than felt from heart.
And now we face the Telangana issue, whether we get a separate Telangana or not, but a lot of inconvenience has caused to general public.
Firstly, I fail to understand the demands which split a state into small pieces, guess finally ever 100mts will be declared as a state/union territory! -- It's purely a power game. Secondly, why is that all the leaders who initiate all the tumult are peacefully unaffected by its effects. Strange that in a country whose father of nation has preached non-violence to the world, violence and violation of law are taken as means by its leaders to achieve their cause. Buses/Shops/Malls are pelted with stones, Train engines are burnt, innocent people are hurt - A tremendous loss to business/property and we the people have to bear it finally! It's our public property that's destroyed, its the common man at stake, Its the daily wager who goes hungry because of this, Its the loss the shops and the malls have to bear, its people might need emergency health care who face the sad consequence of these foolish bandhs!
Can't we raise our voice against these destructive bandhs? Isn't our silence an agreement to this stupidity? And in reality all our educated lot hates these bandhs and mindless fights, but we prefer being meek audience :(.
Can’t we, like minded people who agree with me get together to awaken fellow Indians that its time we did away with these pointless bandhs?
So I request help to guide me in how I can get this message across my fellow Indians for their own good.
