Delhi, the capital of India, is a very dynamic city, and part of its charm is that the population is so very active in the state of affairs, and quite literally at that! Everyone seems to have an opinion on something or the other. Be it the roads or the education system or the frequent electricity shortage. However, as much as this might seem as the ideal situation that everyone is concerned about things that affect their daily lives (and is very vocal about it), the problem is that not everyone gets to have a say in the political system of election, which is an essential, if not the most essential part of the whole situation.

The reason behind this scenario is that many residents of the city do not have a voter ID card, which basically means that they cannot cast a vote, and hence, remain isolated of the process of selecting the person who will take charge of their region, i.e., the chief minister. Such kind of a setup is certainly not a very healthy one, either in the short or the long term, and that is precisely the reason that it is essential to make sure that everyone has a voter ID card, and exercises his/her right to vote.
