Its is the same story every where in India. however I have a different story to tell you all. Today its happening with tomorrow it can be you or anybody.

Much of the battle was fought by Hon. Chief Minister Mamta Banaerjee for the people of singur, Jhargram etc but she is not paying attention to the ilegal acquistion of shops just a stone throw away distance from where her office is the Writer,s building.

I would like to bring to the kind notice of our fellow citizens in other parts of India that kolkata is no more the " City Of Joy " as we call calcutta or kolkata commonly . We have seen many great people coming from bengal and making a statement .

some people do not work here, but they want good pay, they want to work for only 3 hours maximum but want the full salary. People related to parties show their muscle to common people and extort money in many ways. Going to the police is useless as your name would be leaked and you will face the wrath of the goons you complain. if you are shifting to any parts of kolkata for residence be ready to shell out money for the local clubs, local party people you got to pay either in cash or kind ( i.e T.V, Sound systems, A.C, Fans,Coolers etc) If you buy a car you got to pay the local area club money in order ( that no damages would be done to their cars, bike etc) If you are new to any locality you need to pay Kali Puja,Durga Puja,Lakshmi Puja,Saraswati puja money upto Rs. 50000/-

You cannot approach the police otherwise while you are away for work they would harash your family members by playing loud music, swtiching the main OFF, not letting postman delivery the parcel , letter to your house, will not allow any fuction at your house. Would Tease your wife, daughter etc. But still you cannot complain to the police.

If you are bussinessman and have quired any new shops, factory etc you must pay the local goons etc for the safety of your shop or factory, for small shop you got to shell out minimum Rs.50000/- upto 5 lakhs still you cannot complain to the police.

If you have your showroom on the pavement your showroom would be more than half aquired by the hawkars but still you cannot complain as the local goons and many influential people etc are involed in it.

One of my friend who is not from kolkata protested against them but he was sent to the hospital with a minor expenses of Rs. 1 lakhs as most of his bones suffered fatal wounds and still he cannot compalin .
Many youngster today are moving out of kolkata and do not wish their family to even settle here. Why????????????????

Why we need bow down to these people like the LOcal club in every area of west bengal, why this hawker creating fuss and even threaten people opposing the ilegal insatallation of makeshift shops. why we still need to pay the local goons, councillor people as gunda tax for running their bussiness in peace. why we so helpless ???????????????????????????

Only when influential people like MP MLA are involed these situation are highlighted in news , print media.

Many fools like my friend have suffered fatal wounds are now in mental Trauma centre paying for their courage.

This is our 21st century Calcutta the land of Rabindranath Tagore, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, etc.

How can we call the CITY OF JOY anymore...............................

I ask my fellow citizens when will we supress these people...............

I ASK HON. CHIEF MINISTER can she bring a new dawn in our lifes............... can she really help us ..........................

why are we electing people who are just using us ???????????????????? We are already facing so many problem in life such as

Service compettion, business compenttion, il health, sickness , death ..............
