Hi All,
I am a resident of Bangalore since 5-6 yrs. Bangalore as you all know is an amazing place to live in due to its beautiful weather and the culture what it carries. In this way the City JUST ROCKS !!!
Now, here i want to highlight somethings which i am seeing/experienced all this while. Cops or the POLICE what we call for name sake i found very corrupted in this city. Thanks to the negligence from the Government.
The Points what i am going to present here might be the same in all other cities or States, but i would like to raise my voice against this and require complete support from all of you...
Points:
1. In this city the shops/Pubs/Wine Shops/Restaurants are given a deadline of 11PM. But what i found is that the POLICE what we call for namesake collects money from all these places on a daily basis. The approximate amount what they collect from these ppl is arnd 200 bucks. This was told to me by one of the shop guys who was very frustrated... If not paid then they will have a problem in future...
I also found a Police guy taking money from a security guy sitting infront of an ATM .This was around 12 AM.
HOW SHAME !!!
2. Traffic Police - I found these people only good at collecting fines from motorists. They are least bothered about controlling the traffic here, which gets worst day by day. If you travel around Bangalore you cant see any Traffic cops standing at the signal and controlling the traffic. Instead you can see them hiding behind Trees/Shops/places where there is no street lights etc just to fine ppl for any mistakes. And let me remind you that you cant get out of it without paying fine.
I am not against cops who fines people for drunken driving or violating traffic rules. but there is a way to do it..
So as a summary - POLICE ARE CORRUPTED TO THE CORE IN BANGALORE ( 4get Politicians for a while which doesn't need any explanation )
Just wanted all of your co-operation to strictly raise our voice against this..
Regards,
Sandeep

Re: Bangalore Traffic Police/...
When you want to wager on tennis you need to make sure that you find a sportsbook that has favourable odds. Every sportsbook will have different odds posted for different matches, so often it’s best if you have money available on several of the top sportbooks. If you have money on several of the top books then you can place wagers with all of them based on whatever book has the best odds for the match you want to bet on.

Regarding Corruption in Traffic Police
Do I need to mention how corrupt we people are while we are on Road?
Even the first time we leave from our place for our college or work, we sometimes forget to take the License or RC with us, but we think ourselves - "lets not bother, if he catches me, Rs. 50 is what he will take maximum".
Now it would not have been a problem if Rs. 50 was the legal fine, but the legal fine is around Rs. 100 - 200. Now these Traffic cops have been managing the traffic whole day and night for us people who always blame them for Corruption while the original corrupt people are US only. If we don't pay them under the table and directly pay them the FINE (which goes to Government), how are they going to be corrupt?
Think about this yourself and then comment or write an article. the problem is us only who don't follow the Law even on road and then blame those who are there to atleast make us realize that we are not following it. I am not the son or relative of a Traffic policemen that I have been writing in favor of Police, I just support the logical facts and the reality which people in India have tend to forget and blaming is what everybody does even for their own mistakes.
I hope it is pretty clear about what I had to convey!
